Premier Mario Draghi had a phone
conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin Tuesday
morning focusing on the latest developments in the Ukraine
crisis and bilateral relations, the premier's office said.
Premier Draghi underscore the importance of working towards a
de-escalation of tensions in the light of the serious
consequences that a worsening of the crisis would have, they
said.
The two leaders agreed on a joint commitment for a sustainable
and lasting solution to the crisis and the need to rebuild a
climate of trust.
