Today's goal for the international
community is to all win, together, President Sergio Mattarella
told the UN General Assembly Tuesday.
"In the history of mankind, an enterprise such as the United
Nations emerged to overcome the 'zero-sum' game that
characterised relations between nations, based on the rule that
in order to win, someone else had to lose. The goal became to
win all. Together", he said.
Mattarella also said that multilateralism was a fundamental
pillar of Italian foreign policy.
