On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the
Bilateral Conference on Ukraine's Reconstruction will be held in
Rome at the Palazzo dei Congressi. The Conference, which will be
attended by approximately 700 guests, including representatives
from the business world, the main international financial
institutions, and trade associations, will provide an
opportunity to gather directly from Ukrainian authorities the
needs necessary for the country's reconstruction, and will allow
the Government, Italian entities, and companies to formulate
concrete proposals to respond to Kiev's needs, in terms of both
fast response and fast recovery. The Conference, according to
the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will begin at 8.45 a.m.
with a closed-door session consisting of 7 Thematic Tables on as
many sectors identified as reconstruction priorities, such as
infrastructure and transportation, energy and the environment,
agro-industry, health, digital and services, space and avionics,
and steel. The Plenary Session will run from 10.45 a.m. to 13.00
p.m., with institutional interventions from the Italian and
Ukrainian governments.
