(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Team USA Captain Zack Johnson said
after losing the Ryder Cup in Rome Sunday that there could be no
excused for the wrong choices he had made.
"I'm not looking for excuses. Europe beta us and the defeat is
my responsibility, I made wrong choices," he said after Europe
won 16.5-11.5 to regain the trophy they lost at Whistling
Straits 19-9 two years ago.
"We'll use this defeat as motivation. Eurpe played great and
won. We showed guts and heart, there were highs and lows, I'm
proud of my boys.
"I'm the one responsible for the defeat, I made wrong choices
and I'll think about that. These 12 boys played hard and fought
for our country." (ANSA).
