(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Europe regained the Ryder Cup Sunday
as Tommy Fleetwood mathematically got the half the Europeans
needed against Robbie Fowler, sending the home fans wild at the
Marco Simone Golf&Country Club outside Rome, the first time the
event has been held in Italy.
Europe are assured of at least getting the 14 and a half points
they need to win the trophy they lost 19-9 in a mauling at
Whistling Straits two years ago. (ANSA).
