(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Home fans went wild after Team Europe
regained the Ryder Cup with a 16.5-11.5 win over Team USA in
Rome Sunday.
Ecstatic supporters flooded onto the course at the Marco Simone
Golf & Country Club at Guidonia outside the Italian capital, the
first edition of the event to be held in Italy.
Some of the overjoyed tifosi jumped into the lakes dotted around
the course, as Rome enjoys an unusually long Indian summer.
