(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 15 - An Italian man got life imprisonment
Tuesday for killing his former girlfriend in southern Italy a
year ago.
Salvatore Carfora, 38, from Torre Annunziata near Naples,
confessed to stabbing to death 29-year-old Sonia Di Maggio in
the Salento area of Puglia on February 1, 2021 after coming
across her walking in the street with the man she had left him
for.
A court also ordered solitary confinement for a year for the
femicide. (ANSA).
