EU spokesman, no suspension of Hungary's Recovery Plan
'Assessment is underway, results by Monday'

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, 07 LUG - "There is no suspension" of
Hungary's Recovery Plan. "We are analyzing the plan to see if it
respects the audit mechanism" and the other aspects included in
the specific recommendations 20219-2020, said a spokesperson for
the EU Commission. "The evaluation is still ongoing; the
regulation provides that the Commission has two months to
examine the plan, so we still have some time left. We are still
in the analysis and discussion phase", he added. The Commission
should issue its assessment by Monday, 12 July. (ANSA).
