Balkans: Jansa, further steps towards enlargement needed
Time to include more countries in the Schengen Area

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 1 - "During our presidency" of the EU
"we will try to convince other member states that it is high
time to make further steps towards enlargement," Slovenian Prime
Minister Janez Jansa said at a meeting with the Greek Prime
Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Slovenian news agency STA
reported today. Jansa and Mitsotakis met in Bled on Tuesday
evening, on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum (BSF).
"Many Western Balkan leaders are coming to Slovenia, and Greece and Slovenia are strong supporters of enlargement," Jansa added, noting that it is time to include more countries in the Schengen Area. (ANSA).
