Albania: von der Leyen, future of Tirana is in the EU

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 28 - "Albania's future is in the EU"
and the European Commission "stands firmly by this commitment,"
said the President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen in
Tirana today. Von der Leyen added that she is "delighted to
start my visit to the Western Balkans in Albania." "With good
progress on justice reforms, Albania has clearly delivered. Now
the EU should do too," Von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.
After Tirana, the President of the Commission is expected to visit also Skopje today, Podgorica, Pristina and Belgrade tomorrow and Sarajevo on September 30. (ANSA).
