(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 14 - Airmen from the 31st Fighter Wing
have begun 'Astral Knight 2021', a multinational exercise
operating out of multiple locations throughout Europe and at the
Aviano Air Base, in Italy, the Aviano Base management said on
the official website.
"AK21 is a U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa-led event involving U.S. Airmen, Soldiers and Sailors working with service members from Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy and Slovenia", Aviano informed.
Astral Knight 21 "aims to enhance the command and control integration, coordination and interoperability of air, land and sea capabilities, and overlapping operations into the integrated air and missile defense enterprise," the Air Base said. (ANSA).
