Golf: Italians disappoint at US Open

Migliozzi 2 over par,Molinari three over and risking missing cut

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 17 - Italy's two representatives in the US Open at Brooline Massachusetts disappointed in the first round Thursday with Italian no 1 Guido Migliozzi shooting a two over par 72 and 2018 Open winner Francesco Molinari carding a three over par 73 that outs him at risk of missing the cut.
    Canada's Adama Chadwin leads the field on four under ahead of a clutch of players on three under including Northern Irish legend Rory McIlroy.
    Former world number one and 2016 US Open winner Dustin Jonson, one of the main faces of the new Saudi-backed big-buck breakaway LIV Golf tour, shot a two under 68. (ANSA).
