(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 29 - Some 680,000 people have visited the
Italy pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020 since the event opened in
October and it is expected to reach the 700,000 mark by the end
of the year.
As well, some seven million virtual visitors have participated
in the pavilion, it said in a statement.
The Italian pavilion is the most cited in the world of all the
190 pavilions, along with that of the US, a survey said.
COVID curbs have been beefed up due to the Omicron surge.
The Italy pavilion offers a plethora of treats including a 3-D
replica of Michelangelo's David. (ANSA).
