Ferrari's troubles in this season's
Formula One championship continued at the Spanish Grand Prix on
Sunday, with Carlos Sainz coming fifth and Charles Leclerc
finishing 11th and outside the points after starting the race
from the pit lane following a gearbox change.
The race was dominated by Red Bull's world champion and
standings leader Max Verstappen, who came home ahead of Mercedes
duo Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
Sainz is sixth in the driver's standings after seven races with
58 points, compared to Verstappen's 170, while Leclerc is
seventh with 42.
Ferrari are fourth in the constructors' championship with 100
points, 187 behind leaders Red Bull.
