(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 28 - Relegation-threatened Verona were
pegged back by Empoli's Slovenian striker Petar Stojanovic for a
1-1 draw in the 96th minute that sets up a thrilling last day
for the Veneti and their fellow drop candidates Spezia.
Hellas are on the same number of points as the Ligurians but
behind on goal difference as Serie A heads into its conclusion
with Sampdoria and Cremonese's descent into Serie B already
sealed.
Verona got to AC Milan, which has already qualified for the
Champions League while Spezia travel to AS Roma, which is out of
the Champions running after a 2-1 loss at Fiorentina Saturday.
