(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 28 - President Sergio Mattarella arrived
at Via dei Fori Imperiali in the Roman Forum Sunday to hand the
Giro d'Italia trophy to Slovenia's Primoz Roglic.
Three-time Vuelta winner Roglic is set to win his first Giro
after snatching the lead from Welshman Geraint Thomas in a
dramatic mountain time trial Saturday.
Roglic has a 14-second advantage over Thomas which it is
impossible to lose on the flat laps around the Italian capital
Sunday. (ANSA).
