(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 20 - A round table between the business
ministry and Stellantis December 6 will pave the way for the
production of one million cars in Italy that is essential to
keeping all of the carmaker's Italian plants working at full
capacity, Business and Made in Italy Minister Adolfo Urso said
Monday.
Urso said the talks would mark "an important turning point
because there will finally be a systematic comparison debate to
reverse the trend of decline that has been recorded in recent
years in national production".
He said this would allow the Italo-US-French carmaker "to aim
for the one million vehicles that we consider fundamental to
maintaining and renewing the Stellantis plants in our country".
