NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM 15 regions of Kazakhstan remain in the high COVID-19 risk ‘red zone’ and ‘yellow zone’ as of today, April 20, the Telegram Channel of the Interdepartmental Commission for preventing coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan reads.The cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, as well as Akmola, Atyrau, Aktobe, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda regions are in the high COVID-19 risk ‘red zone’. Almaty, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions entered the ‘yellow zone’, while Kostanay and Turkestan regions are in the ‘green zone’.
The ‘red zone’ imposes strict restriction measures, the ‘yellow zone’ adheres to the quarantine measures in effect and toughens control over their observance.
