Serbia: 550 mn for reconstruction of railway line
For the 111-km long Velika Plana-Nis

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 07 GIU - Serbia is planning to invest 550
million euro in the reconstruction and modernization of the
railway line between Velika Plana and Nis, the Serbian Minister
of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic
announced.
The first step towards the project was the signature of a memorandum of understanding with the state-owned company Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije for the preparation of the project documentation, the specialized portal SeeNews informed.
"The preparation of project documentation is a serious task because it affects everything that happens to the project later on, the speed and efficiency of its execution," minister Mihajlovic said, quoted by SeeNews.
The project preparation for the reconstruction of the 111 km-long railway line will be backed also by EU funds. (ANSA).
