31 January, 14:07
(ANSA) - PRISTINA, JAN 31 - The prospects for the resumption of the dialogue for the normalization of the relationship between Belgrade and Pristina are the critical issue of the talks that the two envoys of the EU and the US, Miroslav Lajcak and Gabriel Escobar, are planning from today with the Kosovo leadership. During their mission in Pristina, scheduled until February 2 and that will continue later in Belgrade, the two diplomats have scheduled meetings with the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Besljimi, who leads the Kosovo delegation at the negotiating table with the Serbian side. In addition, contacts with the leaders of the various political forces and the representatives of the international organizations present in Kosovo are on the agenda. Among the messages that the two envoys bring in their mission, there is the need to respect the agreements already reached by the parties within the negotiation that has been going on since 2011 with the mediation of the EU and the support of the US.
