Only 13% of Italian companies employ ICT specialists
Low percentages also in Romania, Lithuania and Bulgaria

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 9 - The shares of enterprises in the
European Union employing ICT specialists were lowest in Italy
(13%), Romania, Lithuania and Bulgaria (all 16%) in 2020, the EU
statistical office Eurostat said today. On the other hand, the
shares of enterprises employing ICT specialists were highest in
Belgium and Ireland (both 30%), followed by Denmark, Hungary and
Malta (all 29%). In 2020, 19% of all enterprises with at least
ten employees and self-employed people in the EU employed ICT
specialists, Eurostat said. (ANSA).
