(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APR 14 - The Croatian e-car producer Rimac Automobili has unveiled the design for its new headquarters near the Croatian capital, Zagreb, which will include on-site test track, accommodation and a museum and other facilities for the production and testing of batteries. The investment in the so-called 'Rimac Campus', which will host up to 2,500 employees, will exceed 200 million euros and construction of the new site is scheduled to be completed in 2023, the company said. The complex, which will occupy more than 100,000 m2 of space, was designed by the Croatian architectural agency 3LHD.

"Just 10 years ago this company was only me in a garage, working on electric performance vehicles and components. Since then, we have grown to around 1,000 employees, formed strategic partnerships with Porsche, Hyundai Motor Group and others, and are working with the biggest names in the automotive industry," said CEO and Founder, Mate Rimac. "One thing that we have always committed to is developing our business within Croatia; we're proud to be here and with this new location, it will be our long-term home," Rimac noted. (ANSA).
