New Alpe Adria Network launches service for companies

Activated by Chambers of Commerce to hasten economic recovery

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, MAY 21 - To support the economic recovery in the New Alpe Adria area, the presidents of the Chambers of Commerce of the New Alpe Adria Network, with a Joint Declaration, agreed on the launch of a cross-border service for businesses, to inform them of the provisions enforced, regarding the mobility of goods, people, availability and opening of economic activities in all the bordering areas.

"As Chambers of Commerce of the Nuova Alpe Adria Network - the president of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce, Antonio Paoletti said - we immediately tried to exchange information since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis and subsequently during the lockdown that hit our countries and regions. It is essential for our businesses - he added - to understand what is happening in the other bordering regions, so as not to adopt wrong behaviors." The New Alpe Adria Network involves the Chambers of Commerce Venezia Giulia, Pordenone-Udine, Unioncamere Veneto, the Chambers of Economy of Carinthia and Styria, the Chamber of Economy and the Chamber of Crafts of Slovenia, and the Chambers of the Economy of the Croatian Counties of Istria and Kvarner Coast.
