(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUNE 18 - The company China National
Machinery Import and Export (CMC) will build a 100MW solar park
in the Hungarian city of Kaposvar, local media reported.
The park will be the largest in Central Europe and works are
expected to be completed by December, with an investment of
approximately 100 million euros, the portal Budapest Business
Journal informed.
The park will be built in the framework of an agreement on
investments in Hungary that signed with CMC in April, the
Hungarian Innovation and Technology Minister Laszlo Palkovics
said, recalling that Hungary aims to boost its solar park
capacity from 700 MW to 3,000 MW by 2022 and to 7,000 MW by
2030. (ANSA).
