EU refers Poland to Court of Justice
"We consider that the law on the judiciary is incompatible"

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 31 - Today the EU Commission "took an
important decision for the protection of the independence of
judges. We decided to refer Poland to the EU Court of Justice,"
the EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders said today.
"We consider that the law on the judiciary is incompatible with the Treaties. We are also asking for interim measures," Reynders informed on Twitter. (ANSA).
