Generali: submits an offer for Aviva's business in Poland

The Anglo-Saxon company could earn two bn euros

(ANSA) - UDINE, 22 MAR - MILAN, MARCH 22 - Generali has submitted an offer for Aviva's activities in Poland. The same group reported after sending the Angol-Saxon company the expressions of interest in the Polish assets at the end of the deadline.

Aviva has put up these assets for sale and would aim to earn two bn euros. Poland is a country where Generali is already operating and where they are interested in growing.

Provided that the purchase, as CEO Philippe Donnet has repeatedly said when talking about acquisitions, is in line with the group's strategy, creates value for stakeholders, and meets the conditions of discipline and rigor, which are the terms the company has set out for its business. (ANSA).
