(ANSA) - PRISTINA, NOV 7 - EU Special Envoy Miroslav Lajcak ended his visit to Pristina (Kosovo) today and said he is satisfied with the talks held since last night with government and opposition personalities.
The goal of his mission to the region is the prospect of dialogue to achieve a normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade.
A negotiation that had been stalled for some time due to continuing inter-ethnic tensions in northern Kosovo and continued cross-accusations between the two sides.
"Today, I spent a very profitable day in Kosovo, with fruitful talks on the latest developments in the EU-facilitated dialogue and the way forward. I thank all my interlocutors for their input and active support," Lajcak wrote on X. (ANSA).
