(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 15 - British Formula One great Lewis
Hamilton told hundreds of fans at Expo Dubai 2020 Monday that he
was gunning for a record 8th F1 title this year.
"I'm back to fight for my eighth title," which would be one more
than the record he currently shares with Ferrari legend Michael
Schumacher, said the 37-year-old, who also said he would be
adding his mother's surname, Larbalestier, to his own.
"An eighth title would mean everything. Doing something that no
one else has done would be amazing," said the Stevenage-born
driver under the iconic dome of the Al Wasl Plaza.
Hamilton said testing so far had been tough and "it will be
difficult in Bahrein" in the opening Grand Prix of the season on
Sunday, "but we like challenges". (ANSA).
