Shortly after midnight Saturday
night, 151 migrants landed at Crotone in Calabria after being
rescued off the coast of Calabria by the patrol boat Bojador of
the Portuguese National Guard, which operates in the Frontex
surveillance system, officials said Sunday.
They are all male and among them are 34 unaccompanied minors
from Pakistan and Egypt, the officials said.
They were on board a fishing boat intercepted by a Coast Guard
patrol boat, from which they were transhipped onto the military
vessel.
They left the Turkish coast five days ago.
